High quality, low cost, great value, ready to use lessons. I am an experienced secondary school teacher. My objective on TES is to help teachers by providing detailed resources which otherwise would tie up their evenings and weekends to create. Sadly I've seen too many good teachers leave the profession due to the terrible workload. My favourite part of teaching is being with the students and helping them learn and seeing their excited faces - I think we all feel the same Best wishes, Jack.

Lesson looking at the difficulties associated with space travel, how they can be overcome and NASA’s project to launch a manned mission to mars. This 18 slide lesson contains: theory, questions, answers, paired work, gap fill, carefully selected video, and high quality images throughout. Objectives: To understand some of the problems with putting people into space. Explain how these problems can be overcome. Form your own opinion on whether it is worth sending people to mars. PLEASE NOTE: The preview images are poor (this is an issue with the tes preview creator software) but the PowerPoint images themselves are all good. Best wishes, Jack Wiseman

Complete lesson guiding the children in your class to work in teams to design, build, test and improve their own rocket in the classroom (no need to go outside). Fun and engaging lesson can be used at any time during the year but would also be great fun at the end of term, or end of half term, or the end of year, or even at Christmas. Suitable for a wide age range from 6 to 16 years. Complete, ready to use. Great lesson and fantastic value at this price ! Have fun and learn... :-) PLEASE NOTE: As usual the tes preview images are a mess - this is something to do with the preview maker they use, the real PowerPoint is perfect. Thanks for reading.
